Abdul Raheem Abubakuru
Abdul Raheem Abubakuru, known as Abdurraheembe, was from Manadhoo in Noonu Atoll, where he worked for many years at the atoll office and was widely loved across the atoll. He died before the font was made.
MV Nevi Raheem (2022) is his handwriting, taken from a piece he wrote for the magazine Rasain about fishing in Noonu Atoll. Hussain Niyaz chose it for the consistency and finish of its letters, and digitised it after talking with his family, including his children Ali Maajid and Maajidha. The family chose the font's name.
