Loopcraft

Loopcraft is a design and technology company based in Malé, Maldives. It works in branding, software and app development, 3D and animation, and marketing. Its own products have included the augmented-reality education app Butterfly Story and the Foodies delivery app. Its chief executive is Mohamed Shamheel.

The company publishes Thaana fonts through its own foundry, RaajjeType. It set up the foundry because the lack of varied Dhivehi fonts made design work difficult. RaajjeType's fonts include Thundu (from calligraphy by Lazzath) and Fanvaiy, as well as two fonts based on the handwriting of individual calligraphers: Magey Huseynu, from the calligraphy of Hussain Shameem (launched in February 2024), and Dhanbumaa, from the handwriting of the late Mohamed Faiz (Dhanbumaa Faiz), launched on 10 August 2025 with his family. Both are free to use.
