Mohamed Ali, from Maavah in Laamu Atoll, wrote the letters of MV Meemu Ali, MV Izyan Lhohi and MV Izyan Reethi, which Hussain Niyaz digitised; the font files name them both as designers. MV Meemu Ali is modelled on the quick handwriting Mohamed Ali used for meeting notes and draft letters.
