Use on the web
Pick the weights you need. The stylesheet loads only the Thaana or Latin parts a page actually uses.
In <head>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://fonts.mv/css2?family=Samee+Avas+Thaana:wght@400&display=swap">Or in CSS
@import url('https://fonts.mv/css2?family=Samee+Avas+Thaana:wght@400&display=swap');Then use
:lang(dv) {
font-family: 'Samee Avas Thaana', sans-serif;
}Or host the files yourself
import { loadFonts } from '@yashau/thaana';
await loadFonts({
family: 'Samee Avas Thaana',
files: {
400: '/fonts/samee-avas-thaana-400.woff2'
}
});Download the WOFF2 files above and the packages load them from your server, with nothing from fonts.mv. More in the docs.

What fonts.mv changed
- Remapped from the pre-Unicode phonetic encoding to Unicode Thaana, so it works with any Dhivehi keyboard and on the web.
- Repaired broken vertical metrics that clipped fili and lines in browsers.
- Consistent line height across Windows, macOS and Linux (hhea, typo and win metrics aligned).
- Fili marked as combining marks so they stack correctly over letters.
- Cleaned names and weights so all styles install as one family.
- Split into small Thaana and Latin subsets for faster loading on the web.
